Safe School Efforts
The San Ramon Valley Unified School District is a strong partner in the community's efforts to create and maintain a healthy and safe community for young people. The district is very involved in the San Ramon Valley Coalition on Youth Safety and Development. The Coalition was formed in January 1999 as a result of events within and outside our local community, which heightened community concern about the safety and overall positive development of young people in the San Ramon Valley. The Coalition was created by a collaboration of five stake-holding agencies: The Town of Danville, the City of San Ramon, the office of Contra Costa County Supervisor District 3, the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, and the San Ramon Valley Council of PTA's.
