We value your support and willingness to volunteer at SRVUSD schools, and we thank you for your shared commitment to the success and safety of all students.
Volunteer Requirements
The safety of our students is a priority, therefore all adults who wish to volunteer in our schools, on field trips, athletic events, etc. must be cleared through our Volunteer Management System (VMS). SRVUSD has partnered with Be A Mentor, Inc. to support the online registration and screening process of school volunteers.
Within the VMS, parents/caregivers can choose a clearance level based on their anticipated level of involvement.
Process for New School Volunteers
1. Log in to the Be A Mentor volunteer management system
2. Choose a volunteer level. (You may choose one, two, or all three levels of clearance)
3. Upload appropriate documents
4. For Level 3 volunteers only, complete the Mandated Reporter training annually and the Sexual Harassment training every two (2) years.
