AASA Learning 2025 Lighthouse District
AASA recognized exemplary school districts through its Learning 2025 initiative and, in partnership with the Successful Practices Network, named San Ramon Valley Unified as one of 12 districts to receive this award. Lighthouse districts reflect positive change in public education and promote a powerful culture of agency to accelerate achievement for the students of today and tomorrow.
CollegeBoard's AP District Honor Roll
SRVUSD has been recognized by CollegeBoard as the only school district in the United States, or across the globe, to achieve placement on the College Board's AP District Honor Roll every year of the program's ten year existence, beginning in 2011. Of the over 2,250 districts the College Board has recognized over the years, SRVUSD stands alone in this honor. In 2023, College Board replaced the District Honor Roll with school-specific AP recognition, the AP School Honor Roll.

In 2022, SRVUSD earned more National Blue Ribbon School awards than any other district in the state or the nation.

Pivotal Practice Award
The Pivotal Practice (CAPP) Program was utilized by the State of California during 2022 in place of the Distinguished Schools Award, Due to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, state law suspended the reporting of state and local indicators on the 2020 and 2021 California School Dashboard (Dashboard). In 2022, California recognized districts and elementary and middle and high schools that highlighted a pivotal practice implemented during the 2020–21 school year when California required schools to offer distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.San Ramon Valley Unified School District- 2022
