Each year, schools are required to review and update their school safety plans. In addition to the plans, the schools follow the Incident Command for Schools protocols for site and district emergency operations. Sites schedule regular drills to practice emergency operations. Some information related to emergency operations is confidential. Therefore, should an actual emergency occur, sites will communicate information directly to families regarding matters related to their students.
